There are several movies about the life of Jesus, but I don’t know of any about the life of the Siddh?rtha (except for a documentary). Perhaps there is a foreign film I have overlooked? India has a major film production industry (”Bollywood”), so it seems odd to me that there wouldn’t be some dramatic feature film portraying the Buddha’s life.

By the way, I think the Buddha’s story could appeal to a large Western audience. He was the son of a king and as a child was raised in a life of total luxury. (For example, he several palaces and had innumerable beautiful women attending to his every need.) He married a beautiful girl and they had a son together. But at age 29 he kissed his wife and kid goodbye then wandered off into the forest to seek enlightenment. It seems to me that this has the basic elements for a great dramatic story.

Before we started dating, she asked me to buy her lots expensive stuff, jewelries, clothes, shoes, designer handbags, expensive make ups, luxury trips, etc. I didn’t doubt her intention, I bought everything she asked me to, because I love her with all my heart. She has suffered from anxiety attack, (many many of them), depression, and she is very addicted to food. She’s overweight, but I have accepted her for who she is. I have been cheated on and lied to by many women in my past, so when I met her, her honesty touched my heart. I gave her 110%, and I devoted to her completely. Since I traveled a lot, I have many many chances to cheat on her, but I didn’t and I had zero intentions to.
But now, after only 5 months, she wants out. She said she’s frustrated because I don’t show emotions anymore, I don’t spoil her as much as I used to. Well, how do I know what she wants me to buy. I cooked her dinner (spent whole afternoon in the kitchen), and when she came back from work, all she could say is “I am tired, don’t feel like eating.” (then got up in the middle of the night snack on junk food) She let me sleep in the other room for 2 weeks straight, and walked in front of me naked, got me hot and bothered, and then told me I better go jerk off in the shower since that is what I am going to do anyway. Why does she toy with my emotions like this? What’s going on here?

We have very high energy bills because of air conditioning and the sun bleaches the wooden windows. We do not want to replace the windows but we would consider a coating or even motorized storm windows that we could leave down during the day or half=way down.
