Grasshopper asked:
Living room 4 double rows of windows facing east and two facing north [each has 2 windows one above the other], metal frames,85″ high 45″ wide; dining room has 4 single window rows facing east. We have very high energy bills because of air conditioning and the sun bleaches the wooden windows. We do not want to replace the windows but we would consider a coating or even motorized storm windows that we could leave down during the day or half=way down.
