What can’t a food connoisseur do, or what doesn’t he have access to?

Anita asked:

Being held a food connoisseur, he may not have access
TO BREATHE SUCH VOWS AS LOVERS USE TO SWEAR.

I need to rework the second line so it fits with the rest of my parody, which has a food theme. Any ideas? What can’t a food connoisseur do, or what doesn’t he have access to? Thanks for all suggestions.

How would you describe a gourmet oatmeal chocolate chip cookie?

Luxury Living 2 Comments »
gourmet
Sheila O asked:

I am looking for a great description of a gourmet cookie that is packed with oatmeal, has NO FLOUR, peanut butter, Ghirardelli Chocolate Chips. It is moist, sweet but not too sweet. I use raisins as the main sweetner and top it off with sugar, real vanilla and cinnamon. If you need more help in helping me you can see it at bizzylizzybakery. I am at a loss of a 2 line description and my hope is someone can help me. Thanks a bunch.

Anomaly 17 asked:

I love those gourmet apples like Mrs. Prindables and others, but how do you make them at home? Specifically, what type of chocolate should be used? I assume that the cake and candy section of craft stores would have this stuff, but I’d like some advice from those experienced in makes these treats.

What do you think of baseball teams paying a luxury tax?

Luxury Living 8 Comments »

Joey Joe, yo asked:

Today, according to the AP, Yankees hit with $26 million luxury tax, raising total to nearly $98 million. Boston is the only other team with $497,549.

Why, because of the high payroll. But isn’t baseball a business? They pay extra for the payroll to win, but is that a luxury ?

Goldman Sachs awarded their CEO a $53.4 Million Christmas bonus, do they pay a luxury tax for that now?

I don’t know, it just seems ridiculous they have to pay taxes on paying people salaries. Usually people get tax breaks.
Boston and NY are the two biggest baseball markets. There is the MLB revenue sharing. There should be no luxury tax.
